The Sainsbury's Restaurant is open till 19:00 Mon-Sat and 18:00 Sundays.
Walk north to the end of Groathill Avenue and on your right you will find the Telford Arms serving meals until 21:00.
Local Shopping:
Right across the road in the old Craigleith Quarry is a shopping park, open 8 till 8 Mon-Sat and 10 till 5 on Sundays. Here you will find Sainsbury's Supermarket along with a range of other shops including a Boots pharmacy and various others.
Less than 15 minutes away by bus is the west end of Edinburgh's famous Princes Street with shopping one side and stunning views of the castle on the other. From here you can cross to the Royal Mile; running from the Castle to the Palace of Holyrood, this legendary street is sure to capture your imagination.
Local Transport:
Central Edinburgh is less than 2 miles away, a walk of around 35 minutes with some excellent views along the way. If however you're exhausted after a day of exploration or planning to head further afield, Edinburgh city is well served by local buses.
Lothian Buses run regular services all across the city, the number 41 goes from the closest bus stop to Edinburgh View and in around 15 minutes will carry to you the centre of Edinburgh.
